Competence

  1. The tasks and responsibilities  of the Starost are:
    1. Organizing the work of the District
    2. Taking decisions assuring the correct realization of tasks
    3. Authorization of employees of the District to make administrative decisions on his behalf in individual cases within the scope of public administration,
    4. Realization of personal policies in the District
    5. Realization of duties of the head of the employee of Starost within the scope of Employee's Rights
  2. The Starost initiates and organizes the work on the directions of social and economic development of the District.
  3. The Starost executes other tasks restricted for Starost by acts, Resolutions of the Councils and the Management  resulting from decisions of the Statutes of the Administrative District and The Regulations of the Distict.
  4. The Starost coordinates and supervises operations units, particulary from the range of health protection and promotion of employment
